I’m Nicole Perry and I’ve got a real estate addiction! I’ve been a licensed realtor since 2005 I have been assisting Buyer’s and Seller’s ever since. During that time I’ve seen the business change dramatically, but some things stay the same like great communication and expert market knowledge.
I have helped multiple clients through the complex process of buying and selling. Personally, I have bought and sold many homes as investments, fix & flips, owned commercial properties leased by Dollar General and even our “Forever Home” in beautiful Austin, Texas. This experience, along with over a decade of practice in the lending industry, has given me a unique perspective that allows me to understand the business from many points of view. I understand the emotional and financial investment involved in a real estate transaction. So why did I become a real estate professional?
Childhood memories of time spent with my grandpa who owned multiple investment properties in Austin. I spent a ton of time with him while he searched town for the next purchase and during his visits with tenants. He was always so happy….total people person. Inspired me while I watched him do what he loved. I didn’t plan on selling real estate until 2005 when I followed in my grandpa’s footsteps and started purchasing my own income properties with my husband. Figured I needed a license….one thing led to another and I began helping family and friends buy and sell.
How long have I been selling real estate?
If you include all the years I drove around town helping my grandpa, then you could say I’ve been in real estate all my life. But it became a passion once I started serving friends and family.
Where do I live?
Right now, I live in Lost Creek, but I’ve lived all over Austin. And I’ve been inside homes and studied every local market in the Austin area.
What’s my favorite restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is home. I love to cook and prepare meals, so it’s always my first choice. But second House Park BBQ off 12th street. “Need no teef to eat my beef”
Something people are surprised to learn about me?
Maybe one day I’ll speak 7 languages or parachute out of a plane, but when I tell people that I met my husband at Barton Springs Pool and we were both lifeguards together in ’91….they seem surprised. Not sure if they’re surprised because we were lifeguards or that we’ve been together that long? Oh, and I get called an Austin Unicorn. Apparently, native Austinites are considered rare and few and far between these days.
